Actor Mayilsamy’s son gave an exclusive interview to Galatta Media in which he shared the last moments of his father and the sequence of events that happened prior to his demise, regarding his health. The actor’s son known by the stage name Anbu said he did not reveal that his father had passed away to his mother as he did not how to cope her up. He said glumly, he just took her to Sri Ramamchandra Medical Centre where doctors declared that he had died due to cardiac arrest and let doctors break the news to her.
When asked about the medical history of the late actor Mayilsamy, Arumaianayagam aka Anbu said the actor took a master health check up that led to an angiogram and he was diagnosed with blockages in heart. And, went through a bypass surgery revealed his son. In 2021 November, the actor had a mild discomfort and admitted himself for a heart attack. Mayilsamy had another serious heart attack last year after Karthigai Deepam. Anbu said he was brave to get himself admitted in the hospital. But, before his death the actor did not have any symptoms of illness, said his son.
When the interviewer asked about the irregular lifedata-style and drinking habits that could have led to deterioration in health. His son revealed, Mayilsamy did not drink any liquor in the last three months. "After the serious attack, My father changed his lifedata-style", said his son. The demise of the 57-year-old actor Mayilsamy was a shock to many. The actor died during the wee hours on Sunday. The whole Tamil film fraternity, fans and well-wishers have been sending condolences to his family. The video of that was taken before his last moments at a temple shows he was enjoying the performance of Drums Sivamani for Mahashivratri. The actor will be remembered for his humanitarian endeavors.
