Suriya 42 is expected to be the biggest spectacle of Indian Cinema. Suriya has been delivering hit films lately, including Jai Bhim and Soorarai Pottru. It was announced that director Siva, who directed Annatthe with 'Superstar' Rajinikanth, has joined Suriya for his next project. The motion poster shows that the periodic action flick will be released entirely in 3D. The film is mounted on a massive budget and is said to be a pan-India flick that will be released in multiple languages. It is set to be co-produced by UV Creation with music by Devi Sri Prasad and the cast could include Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Anand Raj, Redin Kingsley, Ravi Raghavendra and others. On Monday, the makers announced that the title glimpse of the “mighty valiant saga” will be released on April 4th.

Madhan Karky has shared his experiences in writing many lyrics for various songs and dialogues for films in an exclusive interview with Galatta Media. The well-known award-winning lyricists also shared about the Suriya 42 in the interview. When the anchor asked about the film the lyricist Madhan Karky said “I can't reveal anything about the film now, The producer, the director or the actor Suriya can only reveal details the project. But I had a great experience with director Siva and I am working with him for the first time as a dialogue writer and I am working with Devi Sri Prasad for the first time for songs (as a lyricist)." Madhan Karky said “I have also worked in many films and Devi Sir Prasad has also worked in many films. We have spoken before, but have not worked together. The film is coming up really well. I went to the shooting spot two to three-time and its going to be a terrific film. it will be a different, something that Siva sir has not done before and it will be an important project in Suriya Sir's career. I think the feeling that was there in writing and has been carried well into a film and I think it will communicate well with the people when they watch it. It's going to be a very big film."
