Keerthy Suresh is a part of the exciting upcoming film Maamannan which has Udhayanidhi Stalin and ‘Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu in pivotal roles. The film has created a huge anticipation among fans and movie buffs and it’s the next project of Mari Selvaraj. The actress is playing the female lead in the film and is the next release for the actress in Tamil after a long time. The film also has Music composed by A.R. Rahman. Ahead of the release of the film on June 29, the actress gave an exclusive interview with Galatta Media and shared some interesting details about Maamannan and her career. When asked how she would face her insecurities, The actress said she feels like, she gets blessed around that time

The actress Keerthy Suresh said “After Mahanati, it was a very rough patch for me. It was a nice release, great name. but after that, for six months I did not get any films. I thought I will get movies." The actress said she wanted to do commercial films after that but everything she got were women-driven, women-centric films and she did not accept any offers for three to four months. She then said at one point, she needed to be financially stable "so I had to do something and I needed to move with whatever I was given. At the time I had my insecurities,I was financially unstable, I do not want to go deep into the conversation. But in a few days, I got my next offer and become stable". The actress said at some point she would have insecurities but somewhere she would feel she’s blessed.

Keerthy Suresh won the National award for her acting in the film Mahanati which was a biopic on the life of the actress Savitri. This is an unexpected revelation from the actress that she got insecure and did not sign any movies for months after the hit film.
