The first-look poster for Lyca Productions' upcoming film, which stars Arulnithi and Bharathiraja, has been publicized. In the poster, the title of the movie is revealed to be Thiruvin Kural. The film is written and directed by debutant Harish Prabhu. Thiruvin Kural is said to be the 24th venture for Lyca Productions. The poster reveals both Bharathiraja and Arulnithi in an intense look.

When asked in an interview, director Harish Prabhu said that the film is an intense family drama between a father and son. Bharathiraja portrays the father of a deaf and mute character played by Arulnithi. He further narrates that the emotionally charged tale centers on how the family becomes involved in a dilemma. Major portions of the film will occur at a Chennai government hospital. Thiruvin Kural was shot in Chennai, Puducherry, and Karaikal over the course of 42 days. The makers want to release it in March. Actors Bharathiraja and Arulnithi have worked together for the first time on this movie. Bharathiraja's most recent acting appearance was in Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam, which went on to become a massive hit last year. Lyca Productions has also confirmed the technical team of Thiruvin Kural. SintoPoduthas is handling the cinematography, while Sam CS is composing the songs and the background score. The confirmed cast of Thiruvin Kural includes Arulnithi, Bharathiraja, Aathmika, Subathra Robert, Ashraf, Jeeva, Mahendran, HarishSomasundaram, and Monekha Siva.

Last month, it was announced that the post-theatrical rights of Thiruvin Kural were acquired by global streaming giant Netflix, whose upcoming lineup also includes films like Ajith Kumar's AK 62, 'Chiyaan' Vikram's Thangalaan, the Raghava Lawrence-SJ Suryah-starrer Jigarthanda Double X, Udhayanidhi Stalin's Maamannan, and many other big ventures. When Lyca Productions revealed yesterday that an announcement on their 24th project would be coming out today, fans began speculating that a word on their next biggie, AK 62, starring Ajith Kumar will follow suit next and it now remains to be seen when the update arrives.
