Blockbuster Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj and the team of his upcoming film, Leo, starring 'Thalapathy' Vijay in the lead role wrapped up a major leg of filming in Kashmir on Thursday, March 23. A special video has been released by the film's production banner 7 Screen Studio on Sun TV's YouTube channel showing the extreme conditions the cast and crew had to work in for more than a month. The video shows Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vijay, the crew and the locals in Kashmir working in the wintry climate on the coldest of days and waking up as early as 4 a.m. for shooting Leo.

Sharing the video titled 'The crew behind LEO', Lokesh Kanagaraj showered praises on the entire team of the film for their hard work despite the freezing temperature and for their passion to entertain the people. Taking to Twitter, the hit director dedicated the featurette to them all and wrote, "Massive respect to the cast and crew of #LEO who worked really hard no matter what, in the process of entertaining people. This tribute is for you all #TheCrewBehindLEO ❤️🙌🏻 #KashmirScheduleWrap". Expectations for Leo are getting bigger with each passing day as the film marks the second-time collaboration for Lokesh Kanagaraj with Vijay and composer Anirudh Ravichander after their 2021 blockbuster, Master. The filmmaker's work in Vikram starring Kamal Haasan left everyone impressed and fans look forward to him delivering a yet another cracker of an entertainer. Announced to release on October 19 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages, Leo will see Vijay reuniting with Trisha Krishnan on the big screen after 14 years, with the ensemble cast featuring the likes of Sanjay Dutt, 'Action King' Arjun, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas, Babu Antony among others in key roles.
