'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo has kicked off its second leg of filming and this time in Chennai after wrapping up the first schedule in Kashmir last month. On Wednesday, April 5, leading actress Trisha Krishnan, who is playing the female lead in the upcoming film, took to her Instagram Story to post a picture of herself along with a cute emoji, while revealing that filming has once again resumed with the caption, "Back to base". Touted to be an action thriller, Leo being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj under Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner marks Trisha's big screen reunion with Vijay after a gap of 14 years and expectations are huge for the duo to recreate the magic like they did during the mid-2000s. Leo is a special film for Vijay and Trisha as it is the 67th venture for both stars and their fourth collaboration after Ghilli (2004), Thirupaachi (2005), Aathi (2006), and Kuruvi (2008). Production on the film is set to be carried out in Chennai for the next few days, with reports a while back stating that the team will head to Hyderabad next. The Kashmir schedule, which began in early January, saw the entire Leo team of more than 100 artistes and technicians battle the harsh cold winter climate, with a video released last month showing their struggles moving and winning the hearts of fans everywhere.

Vijay and Trisha will be seen sharing screen space in Leo with several big names among whom include Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt, 'Action King' Arjun, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Gautham Menon, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas, choreographer Sandy master, among others in key roles. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film, which is his second outing with Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after their Master, which went on to become a massive success at the box office.
