Manobala is a well-known supporting actor in the Tamil film industry who acted in nearly 121 films over the years. The 69-year-old actor died today due to health issues and was popular for his skinny physique and his appearance in comedy roles in combination with comedy Vivek, 'Vaigaipuyal' Vadivelu, etc. He had also directed and produced multiple projects over the year. He made his debut as an actor in the film Puthiya Vaarpuyal in 1979. He was recently seen on screen in the Tamil film Ghost, with Kajal Aggarwal as lead. Puthiya Vaarpuyal

Puthiya Vaarpugal was a film by veteran director Bharathiraja. The film marked the debut of the late actor Manobala. The film has K. Baghyaraj was the lead and he played the role of a Panchayat member.

It was the debut film of director Mani Vannan and actor Manobala appeared in a character called Pathani Bhai.
