One of the leading actors of Tamil film Industry, Sivakarthikeyan, has a production house named Sivakarthikeyan Productions. The production house introduced some promising new talents to the Tamil film Industry with the first two projects Kanaa and Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja. Kanaa was a hit film directed by Arunraja Kamaraj. Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja was directed by Black Sheep fame Karthik Venugopalan with Rio Raj and RJ Vigneshkanth in lead roles. The production house also produced Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Rajawhich was directed by the Aruvi fame director. He then produced Doctor and Don, where he played the lead role.
The next project of Sivakarthikeyan Productions was announced today morning with a title reveal poster. Kottukkaali will be their sixth project with Koozhangal director PS Vinothraj. It has the talented actor Soori as the male lead and marks the Tamil debut of Malayalam actress Anna Ben. The makers have now released a first-look teaser of the project.
Kottukkaali teaser opens with a chime of bells and shows a man ringing the bells of a small temple that’s commonly seen in the rural areas of Tamil Nadu. It then shows the actress Anna Ben’s character Meena sitting in an auto with a rooster standing in the back seat. An off-screen character calls for Meena to get off the auto but she refuses. The teaser then shows Soori smoking a cigarette and throwing it off. As the poster revealed, the rooster could play an important role in the film. The film will have B Sakthivel as cinematography, Ayali and Vilangu fame Ganesh Siva as editor and Kalai Arasu as co-producer. The teaser does not have any music and the makers have not yet revealed the music director for the film. The teaser has created anticipation and it looks like fans will have to wait for more announcement about the interesting project.
