National Award-winning Tamil actress Keerthy Suresh's next big film will be with SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu's Dream Warrior Pictures and is titled Kannivedi. The upcoming Tamil film is the blockbuster production-distribution house's 42nd venture and will be directed by debutant Ganesh Raj, a former assistant of filmmakers Ram and Hari, and is billed to be a female-centric technological thriller. Kannivedi will see Keerthy Suresh sharing screen space with Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal actor VJ Rakshan, while Visaaranai fame Ajay Ghosh and Gulu Gulu actress Namita Krishnamurthy will be seen in pivotal roles. The film's announcement has also revealed the technical team that includes cinematography by Taanakkaran fame Madhesh Manickam and editing by Manikanda Balaji, who is also a part of Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara's Iraivan.

All set to begin work next on Kannivedi, Keerthy Suresh is fresh off the success of Maamannan, which saw her alongside Udhayanidhi Stalin, Vadivelu, and Fahadh Faasil, with her performance receiving a positive response and the film now a major box office success and continuing its strong run in cinemas. The actress will be looking to keep the momentum going and come up with yet another impressive performance in her new film, which will reportedly see her playing the role of an aspiring journalist. Keerthy Suresh commands a huge fan following and Kannivedi is proof yet again that she has the star power to carry forward a film on her own, and fans will no doubt be looking to witness her come up with yet another memorable act.

Apart from Kannivedi, Keerthy Suresh has several interesting projects in the pipeline starting with Bholaa Shankar in Telugu, which is a remake of Ajith Kumar's Tamil blockbuster Vedalam (2015) and will see her playing 'Megastar' Chiranjeevi's sister. She is also essaying the female lead role in Jayam Ravi's Siren, followed by headlining films like Raghu Thatha and Revolver Rita.
