Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 has wrapped up an important schedule in Chennai, popular Hollywood motion picture makeup artist Margaux Lancaster revealed on her Instagram page on Wednesday. Along with sharing a picture from the sets, she stated that she will be joining the team in a couple of weeks once again in the city and expressed her delight at being a part of the magnum opus recalling the experience as an adventure. Margaux wrote, "That's a wrap for this segment of Indian 2. What an adventure! See you in a couple of weeks Chennai!".
Indian 2, which was announced back in 2019, also marks the big reunion of Kamal Haasan with ace filmmaker Shankar after their 1996 cult classic blockbuster, Indian. Production on the upcoming venture has been carried out in a grand manner up until now as the team has traveled to several locations around the world that included countries like South Africa and Taiwan. Shankar has been shuffling his time between Indian 2 and his Telugu-Tamil bilingual film, Game Changer, with Ram Charan, and has been doing a commendable job.
Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 will feature music by Anirudh Ravichander, who recently appeared in a video posted by Shankar on social media where the duo were seen jamming together giving audiences a hint at how the songs and soundtrack are going to be in the film. Expectations for the composer to come out all guns blazing once again are massive considering he delivered thunderous songs and a rocking background score in Kamal Haasan's Vikram released last year. Jointly being produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies banners, Indian 2 is touted to be a political film and also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, late actors Vivek and Manobala, followed by veterans Delhi Ganesh, Gulshan Grover, and former cricketer Yograj Singh (Yuvraj Singh's father) making pivotal appearances in key roles.
