Agilan is an upcoming film that’s set to release in theatres on March 10. The film is directed by N. Kalayan Krishnan. The director-actor combo is back for the second time after the Mega hit film Booloham. Jayam Ravi takes the role of a Harbour worker, and actress Priya Bhavani Shankar has played the role of a cop in the film. The film also features Tanya Ravichandran, Chirag Jani, Hareesh Peradi, Harish Uthaman, Tarun Arora, Madhusudhan Rao and others in supporting roles. The high-octane action thriller has Jayam Ravi in a rugged new look and the film was recently certified as UA. ahead of the release of the film lead actor and director of the film gave an exclusive interview for Galatta Media.

When the anchor questioned the reason behind Agilan delay and as it was supposed to release last year and their previous film Booloham was also postponed, What do they feel about it? The director replied that the film Booloham was postponed. But Agilan was not. We scheduled the film to be released in March and everything is going as per schedule. He further clarified that “there is a 40-minute computer graphics sequence and that is why there is a delay but there was no postponement in the movie release".

Jayam Ravi added to what the director said N. Kayana Krishnan saying even if it's postponed let it be a sentiment, "all we want is to deliver hit films and if it's because of this sentiment, then so be it. He said that it does not matter when the film gets released all he wants is to deliver good hit films. he then added that "Ponniyin Selvan was an unattainable project with many issues and rumours around it but even it got released" and said if something is destined it will happen if we put in hard work and good thoughts into it”.
