Actor Jayam Ravi and director Kalyana Krishnan participated in a special interview organized by Galata Media, where they discussed their upcoming film, Akilan, set to release on March 10th. The interview was exclusive and revealed interesting information about the movie. During the interview, Jayam Ravi was asked about Sam CS, who worked on the music for the film Akilan. Jayam Ravi praised Sam CS, saying, "He is 100% underrated. That means he will underestimate himself. He is capable of doing anything. But he'll say 'RR is important to me.' If you look at the hit songs, he will only have a few songs... because he is primarily focused on RR. He would keenly go through the film like a director, and do whatever he could to save it..."
Jayam Ravi has teamed up once again with director Kalyana Krishnan for their upcoming film, Agilan. The duo previously collaborated on the 2015 boxing action drama, Bhooloham. Agilan is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment Private Limited and features music by Sam C. S. The first single from the movie, titled Dhrogam, was released on February 27th, showcasing Jayam Ravi's action-packed avatar. The female lead in the movie is played by Priya Bhavani Shankar, who portrays a police officer. Other cast members include Tanya Ravichandran, Chirag Jani, Hareesh Peradi, Harish Uthaman, Tarun Arora, Madhusudan Rao, and more.
Apart from Agilan, Jayam Ravi will next be seen in the movies Siren and Ponniyin Selvan 2. In Agilan, he portrays a gangster and has a tanned appearance. On the other hand, in Siren, he showcases an older look with short salt-and-pepper hair, which has generated excitement among his fans. In Ponniyin Selvan 2, he plays the role of the Chola prince and exhibits a youthful, bright, and long-haired appearance. Fans are eagerly anticipating his performances in all three films.
