'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan surprised fans on Tuesday, January 31, when he arrived at the shooting spot of his upcoming film, Indian 2, at Gandikota, Andhra Pradesh, in a helicopter. The iconic actor's arrival left fans gathered at the location stunned after he boarded the chopper at Tirupati, with photos and videos now taking social media by storm. Kamal Haasan has also posted a picture on Instagram with the caption, "My geolocation is an easy guess!!"; and he can be seen standing before a helicopter after he reached the location where filming on Indian 2 is currently taking place.

These shooting developments on Indian 2 have created a lot of curiosity among fans regarding the scope of the film, which is considered to be being made on a massive scale. The sequel to the 1996 cult classic blockbuster, Indian, sees Kamal Haasan joining hands with ace filmmaker Shankar, and fans are particularly excited over how the team is planning to establish a connection between both films. So far, promotional stills and a few behind-the-scenes photos of Kamal Haasan have been unveiled, which have only generated more interest among the fans, who are now looking forward to see a glimpse from Indian 2 soon.

Jointly being produced by Lyca Productions in association with Red Giant Movies, Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 will see the Tamil cinema superstar sharing screen space with leading names among whom include the film's female lead Kajal Aggarwal, with Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, veteran actors Delhi Ganesh, Gulshan Grover, and former cricketer Yograj Singh (Yuvraj Singh's father) to name a notable few appearing in crucial roles. Despite last year's Vikram turning out to be a phenomenal success with a chart-buster album and a thunderous background score by Anirudh Ravichander, the composer was announced to be collaborating with Kamal Haasan first in Indian 2 and all eyes and ears are now set on what he's coming up next for their upcoming collaboration.
