SJ Suryah's Bommai is all set for a big release on June 16 and the buzz for the film is picking up and getting bigger. Billed to be a romantic thriller, the film has been directed by Radhamohan, who is best known for Mozhi (2007) and Abhiyum Naanum (2008) and marks a step away from the emotional and breezy feel-good dramas the acclaimed filmmaker has made throughout the course of his career. Bommai is set around SJ Suryah playing a clothing store employee, who begins to hallucinate over a mannequin imagining it to be Priya Bhavani Shankar.
The second Bommai trailer released last week gave a new glimpse at SJ Suryah and Priya Bhavani Shankar's characters, including the plot which has plenty of romance, action, and sentiment, with the music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. With promotions in full swing, a surprise in the form of a video song from the film has now been released giving audiences an early look at what they can expect in theatres next week. The song in Bommai titled 'Indha Kadhalil' sung by Andrea Jeremiah and Aslam to the lyrics penned by Karky is a melody with plenty of peppy instrumentation in between and is picturized on SJ Suryah, who is seen smitten and head over heels in love with Priya Bhavani Shankar.
Produced by Angel Studios MH LLP banner, Bommai is finally getting released after a long wait considering production wrapped in early 2020 and marks the second occasion SJ Suryah and Priya Bhavani Shankar will be appearing on the big screen after their 2019 smash hit, Monster. Fans look forward to both stars once again delivering powerful performances in the romantic thriller, with director Radhamohan also expected to be a big player in the film to bring audiences and keep them hooked to their seats in theatres.
