Hip Hop Tamizha Adhi's next big film, Veeran, directed by ARK Saravan of Maragadha Naanayam fame now has a release date. The upcoming film touted to be an out-and-out commercial entertainer produced under the prestigious Sathya Jyothi Films banner will open in cinemas on June 2, with the Tamil Nadu theatrical release rights being acquired by Sakthi Film Factory,. The much-awaited film's release date announcement comes after the first single track from the film titled 'Thunderkaaran' came out in March to a rousing response from fans. With the Veeran release date now out, full-fledged promotions for the film are expected to kick off in the days ahead and we can expect the team to raise the excitement levels after the sensational response to the 'Thunderkaaran' song, which featured vocals by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander.

Veeran is Hip Hop Tamizha's third collaboration with Sathya Jyothi Films after the blockbuster banner produced the composer turned actor's Sivakumarin Sabadham (2021) and Anbarivu (2022). While the former released in theatres, the latter came out directly on streaming, with the response to both films being mixed from audiences and critics. Both Hip Hop Tamizha and Sathya Jyothi Films will be looking to hit the bullseye with Veeran this time and they will be banking on filmmaker ARK Saravan, who impressed Tamil cinema audiences in his horror comedy directorial debut, Maragadha Naanayam, in 2017. Check out the Veeran release date below:

Hip Hop Tamizha, who is acting in the lead role and composing music in Veeran, will be seen paired with newcomer Athira Raj alongside Doctor villain Vinay Rai, Munishkanth, Kali Venkat, Sassi Selvaraj, among others appearing in pivotal roles. Although not much is known about the film, it is said to be set in the superhero genre and will be loaded with plenty of action and fantasy elements, showcasing Hiphop Tamizha in a completely new and different dimension. Veeran has music composed by the Hiphop Tamizha Adhi and fans will be waiting for more foot-tapping numbers along the lines of 'Thunderkaaran'.
