Vijay Sethupathi is one of the talked about actors in the Tamil film Industry who recently been acting in a handful of Hindi films including Mumbaikar and the popular web series Farzi. The 51st project of the actor was launched recently in Malaysia and is to be directed by Arumugakumar of Oru Naala Naal Pathu Solren director. The team has now released photos and videos from the shooting spot of the film showing people swarming the actor. The 13-second video posted on social media shows him emerging from a car and fans swarming the actor despite security guards who were present at the site. The actor is also seen greeting some of their fans and clicking selfies with some lucky ones. Some photos of crowds outside the vanity van was also released.
The project tentatively titled Vijay Sethupathi 51 is to be directed by Arumugakumar who also makes the film Oru Nalla Naal Pathu Solren film which reveal a lukewarm response. The film will have music by Justin Prabhakaran and will feature popular comedian and supporting actor Yogi Babu and actress Rukmini Vasanth in important roles. The pooja ceremony of the project happened on 19th May in Ipoh, Malaysia, and it looks like the cast and crew were shooting the film in the foreign country too. The film is produced by 7cs Entertainment who previously distributed the film critically acclaimed film Kadaisi Vivasaayi.
The recent release of Vijay Sethupathi was a Bollywood film titled Mumbaikar, which is a remake of the hit film Maanagaram that marked the debut of director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The next film of the actor is a Hindi film titled Merry Christmas. He is also playing an important role in the Atlee directorial Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Jawan. The recent Tamil release was the long-awaited film Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir.
