Leading Telugu actor Sharwanand tied the knot with his ladylove Rakshitha Reddy, an IT employee, in a grand wedding ceremony that took place in the Vikram Aditya Ballroom at the Leela Palace on Saturday, June 3, in Jaipur, Rajasthan. In an official statement, Sharwanand's PR said that the festivities had begun two days prior to Sharwanand and Rakshita's wedding that included Mehendi, Sangeet, and Haldi, followed by the Pellikoduku event on June 2. Several big names from South Indian cinema graced Sharwanand and Rakshita's wedding among whom included actors Ram Charan, Siddharth, Aditi Rao Hydari, producers Vamshi and Vikram of UV Creations, including Ashish, Harshith, and Hanshitha representing producer Dil Raju's family.
The newly-married couple took the spotlight and looked lovely together in their wedding outfits. While Sharwanand was at his dashing best in a cream-pink sherwani, Rakshita looked stunning in her gorgeous silver-cream color saree, with the couple complimenting their wedding attire with jewelry. It has also been announced that Sharwanand and Rakshita will be hosting a grand wedding reception in Hyderabad on June 9, with many big names from the Telugu film fraternity and South Indian cinema expected to grace the event and wish the couple on embarking on a new phase in their lives together.
On the acting front, Sharwanand, who garnered popularity among Tamil cinema audiences after his appearance in the blockbuster 2011 romantic drama, Engaeyum Eppothum, was last seen in the 2022 science fiction Telugu film, Oke Oka Jeevitham. The film was also released in Tamil under the title Kanam and was well-received by critics and audiences. Sharwanand, who also recently completed 20 years in the film industry, will soon kickstart work on his next big film, the tentatively titled Sharwa 35 under Telugu filmmaker Sriram Adittya's direction.
