One of the few Hollywood filmmakers who enjoys a massive fan following in India, Christopher Nolan has left everyone spellbound with his films over the course of his illustrious career.
The Academy Award-nominated director is set to begin work on his next film under the Warner Bros. banner, which has been described to be an innovative "international espionage" action blockbuster.
To be shot in IMAX with the worldwide release on July 17, 2019, it has now been officially confirmed that the upcoming film has been titled TENET and is expected to roll into production in the days ahead.
Furthermore, it has been revealed that acclaimed veteran Bollywood actress Dimple Kapadia has been cast in TENET in an important supporting role. A huge star during the 1980s and 1990s in Hindi films, she is also known among fans for being married to India’s first superstar, Rajesh Khanna, and is the mother to actresses Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna.
Fans who follow Hindi films will know that Dimple Kapadia, who won the National Award for Best Actress in 1993 for her performance in the film, Rudaali, has worked in only Tamil film till date alongside Kamal Haasan in the 1986 action adventure, Vikram, in which she played a character named Princess Inimaasi who hails from the Kingdom of Salamia.
In addition, TENET will mark the first occasion Christopher Nolan will not be working with frequent collaborator Hans Zimmer since The Prestige and is the time he is joining hands with Academy Award-winning composer Ludwig Göransson.
