The actress has now announced her engagement with her onscreen co-star Raja Vetri Prabhu from the same serial. She shared the news with a new post on Instagram and said “From being Deeps to his RVP and Abi to his Gautham, I never knew that being Monica to his Chandler was tagging along with us right there!”. The actress also shared that they are now ready to get married “for eternity”. She shared the news with a poster that shows the thumbprint of the two of them in a crimson red-colour forming a heart symbol with a caption that said “We are engaged” and has become viral on social media.
The actress Deepika Venkatachalam further said the one thing that was constant between the two of them was friendship but they are excited as they will not just be just held as ‘best friends forever’. The actor Raja Vetri Prabhu also shared the news with the same poster and wrote a sweet note about their relationship saying “6 years of friendship and I never even imagined.. Where I’d called her my own” and ended the post revealing their wedding festivities are to begin and “we cannot wait to share the fun and excitement for the next 4 days”.
Kana kaanum Kaalangal was a famous serial that was liked by many and the next season of the serial was released last year. The serial has a young cast of Bharath, Sangeetha, Aravind Seiju, Raja Vetri Prabhu, Irfan, Teja Venkatesh, Deepika Venkatachalam, Aashik Gopinath, Keerthan Subash, as students and teachers in a school.
