Santhanam is a popular actor who has been acting in many comedy films in recent times. The recent movie of the actor that was released in theatres was DD Returns, a horror comedy film that was well received by the audience. Ahead of the release of the film on July 28. The actor sat down for an exclusive interview with Galatta Media amidst fans in Madurai, and he shared many interesting details about his career, life and experiences in the interview. When asked if he is interested in doing a film that is based on Madurai, The actor said "I have been wanting to do a film like that for a long time."
Santhanam added that he wanted to do a film against the backdrop of Madurai for B & C audiences for a long time, wearing traditional costumes and all that. He then added "My next film, Vadakkupatti Ramasamy would be in that data-style, with a moustache, beard, traditional dress, and all. That will be my next project. Surely, you can see that Madurai touch in that film." As the anchor asked if he had any dream combo, the actor said, "I don't have anything like that. I should do justice to what I have now. That is my focus". He then added said he wants to give his 100% to what he does, and whatever he is doing now would be his dream project.
DD Returns has a huge cast of actors that includes Santhanam, Surabhi, Redin Kingsley, Maran, Pradeep Rawat, Masoom Shankar, Fefsi Vijayan, Motta Rajendran, Munishkanth, Dheena, Bipin, Thanga Durai, Deepa, and others. The next film of the actor titled Vadakkupatti Ramasamy will see the comeback of the hit combo of Dikkilona of Santhanam and Director Karthik Yogi again.
