Babu, the director of Dada, has now posted a touching note on his Twitter page about the film having a positive impact on his college friend's life, while also sharing a screenshot of their WhatsApp conversation. During their interaction, Ganesh K. Babu's friend, a single mother, revealed that Dada has given her a reason to reunite with her husband once again for their beloved daughter.

Dada revolves around the life of a young man, who goes on embrace fatherhood as a single parent, while also trying to turn things around in his life. The film produced by Olympia Movies and released across Tamil Nadu by Red Giant Movies has Kavin paired with youth sensation Aparna Das, while VTV Ganesh, Bhagyaraj, Aishwarya Bhaskaran, among others make appearances in major supporting roles. Dada is Kavin's first theatrical release after the pandemic and last year's Lift, which premiered directly on Disney+ Hotstar.
