The D-Day is finally here - the wait ends for Dhanush's fans everywhere as the two-time National Award-winning Tamil actor is celebrating his birthday today and has delivered a mega treat in the form of the Captain Miller teaser. Directed by Rocky (2021) and Saani Kayidham (2022) fame Arun Matheswaran under the prestigious Sathya Jyothi Films banner, the upcoming action-adventure film set in the 1930s featuring music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar is coming out in theatres on December 15. With Dhanush fans everywhere kicking off the day by celebrating their beloved actor's birthday with the Captain Miller teaser, we now finally have the first visuals of what's undoubtedly one of the most ambitious and highly anticipated films in Tamil cinema history in recent times.

And, the Captain Miller team has not disappointed us one bit as the striking visuals give us a glimpse at the massive scale the film is being made and it is undoubtedly striking on all fronts. The teaser starts off without wasting any time and introduces the lead character Miller on a wanted poster with a reward of Rs 10,000 over his head, with the visuals then progressing to show bloody scenes of carnage and destruction by the British Army numbering in hundreds with arms and ammunition. The Captain Miller teaser then delivers the big payoff and reveals Dhanush on a speeding motorcycle, with the visuals then going to show several major moments that include huge explosions, battle trucks getting toppled over and Dhanush going for the big kills at each turn.

Apart from Dhanush being the big USP in the Captain Miller teaser, director Arun Matheswaran has packed in several members of the core cast in the glimpse starting with Priyanka Arul Mohan appearing in a completely transformed look in what is the most challenging role of her career, while she also wields a revolver on the battlezone. The film, which is set during the pre-Independence period also features Kannada superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar, who is playing Dhanush's brother, and he makes us take notice of his horse-riding skills on the battlefront this time. Among the other prominent names appearing in the Captain Miller teaser are Sundeep Kishan and John Kokken, while Merku Thodarchi Malai hero Antony, Sillu Karuppatti actress Nivedhithaa Sathish, and Malayalam actor Moor are also a part of the film. And, the icing on the cake is National Award winner G. V. Prakash's powerful score in the Captain Miller teaser reminding us of the powerhouse composer he is and the musical treat that awaits us as the film nears its release this December.
