Two-time National Award winner Dhanush has resumed shooting for his next big film, Captain Miller, at Courtallam, Tamil Nadu, from Thursday, February 23, and a photo of the actor posing casually at the airport is now taking social media by storm. Fresh off the phenomenal response to his latest film, Vaathi, the leading Tamil actor will today be joining the sets of his upcoming period action adventure venture being directed by Arun Matheswaran of Rocky and Saani Kaayidham fame. Prestigious production house Sathya Jyothi Films is producing Captain Miller and the actor's photo has now been officially unveiled showing how excited fans are for the Dhanush-starrer.
Sathya Jyothi Films shared Dhanush's photo at the airport and wrote in their caption on Twitter: "Just an unofficial random click of our hero in #CaptainMiller look shaking the internet 💥🥳 Just @dhanushkraja things 😎👑". This latest tweet from the hit production banner has come out as yet another reminder regarding the sky-high excitement surrounding the film, which is expected to wrap its production by April, according to latest reports. Captain Miller had a grand pooja ceremony held last September and showed Dhanush sporting a thick beard for his role in the film, which he has been maintaining for months, and was once again seen at the Vaathi audio launch recently. Set in the 1930s, Captain Miller will see Dhanush paired with youth sensation Priyanka Arul Mohan, while the supporting cast also includes Kannada superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar, Maanagaram star Sundeep Kishan, Merku Thodarchi Malai hero Antony, Sillu Karuppatti actress Nivedhithaa Sathish, Thunivu villain John Kokken, Malayalam actor Moor among others in pivotal roles. Captain Miller also marks the Dhanush-G. V Prakash Kumar combo teaming up for the seventh time after their previous collaborations Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Mayakkam Enna, Asuran, Maaran, and their recent outing Vaathi.
