S.J. Suryah is a versatile actor who made his debut as a director and made many hit films. The next film with the actor as the lead is titled Bommai. The film is directed by Radha Mohan who is known for making feel-good films like Abhiyum Naanum, Mozhi, Kaatrin Mozhi, etc. It is touted to be a psychological drama film that revolved around a person who imagines a mannequin as a real person. Priya Bhavani Shankar is set to play an important role in the film that is scheduled to release in theatres on June 16.

Ahead of the release of the film Bommai, Galatta Media known for organising awe-inspiring events organised a fan's meet for S.J. Suryah. As a special session, Popular mimicry artists TSK and Aazhar spoke mimicking the voices of famous artists 'Thalapathy' Vijay and Ajith Kumar to the actor. They asked many interesting questions. when asked if he like to be an actor or to be would he direct more film with top stars. He replied that he likes to act and to keep acting. As many fans at the event started clapping he said "then only, I can get such fans, right"

Azhar asked in the voice of 'Thalapathy' Vijay about his next film in line Thalapathy 68. The film is to be directed by Venkat Prabhu and S.J.Suryah acted in the hit film by the director Maanaadu. As he asked the actor if he is playing a role in the film, S.J.Suryah said “so far, I have not received any call, If I get any call I will be happy.” he then went on to say that “We don't know what that film requires, If it happened I will be very happy.” Looks like S.J. Surjah is ready to act if the opportunity is presented in Thalapathy 68.
