The fifth season of Bigg Boss Tamil: Season 5 which began on October 3, 2021, will come to an end today (January 16) and the fans are eagerly looking forward to witnessing the grand finale episode. The show kicked off with 18 contestants with an addition of 2 wildcard entrants in the later stages. The 20 contestants who were a part of this season include VJ Priyanka, Raju Jeyamohan, Niroop, Amir, Pavni, Ciby Chandran, Suruthi, Nadia Chang, Akshara Reddy, Sanjiv, Varun, Imman Annachi, Thamarai Selvi, Namitha Marimuthu, Abhinay, Abishek Raaja, Mathumitha, Iykki Berry, Chinna Ponnu, and Isaivani.
Among the 20, 5 of them emerged as the finalists - Raju, Priyanka, Pavni, Amir, and Niroop. The shoot of the grand finale episode happened yesterday (January 15) at EVP Film City, on the outskirts of Chennai. Since the shoot is already over, the details regarding the title winner, runner-up, and the ranking of other finalists are known. As expected, Raju Jeyamohan has won the title of Bigg Boss Tamil: Season 5 and this victory comes as deserving recognition for the talented entertainer. According to the information from the insiders of the show, VJ Priyanka has been declared as the runner up of the show.
Raju and Priyanka were the last two people standing and among the two, Raju was the winner and Priyanka was the runner-up. Pavni has secured third place, while Amir and Niroop have taken the fourth and fifth spots respectively.
