The star couple shared the happy news on Tuesday, January 31, on social media, while also posting pictures of themselves from a photo shoot celebrating the joyous occasion. In the first picture, we see Atlee and Priya holding an adorable pair of baby shoes along with the text, "It's A Boy", while the second image is from their baby shower ceremony, which took place in December last year. Announcing the big news, Atlee and Priya in a joint statement said, "They were right 😍 There’s no feeling in the world like this ♥️ And just like tat our baby boy is here! Atlee and Priya are living the dream life after tying the knot on November 9, 2014, in Chennai, in the presence of family members and close friends, with several notable Tamil cinema celebrities and personalities also gracing the occasion. Congratulatory messages and wishes have been flooding their Twitter and Instagram pages in the comments section for their latest big announcement. The couple also celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary and have been setting relationship goals for fans for many years now. Atlee and Priya's baby shower ceremony was a grand affair, which also saw 'Thalapathy' Vijay wish them in person along with a special gift.

On the work front, Atlee is at present working on his next big directorial, Jawan, starring 'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, which is set to open in cinemas worldwide in a grand manner on June 2, 2023. Being produced under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner, the upcoming pan-Indian film releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages is the hit Tamil director's debut in Hindi cinema.
