National Award-winning actor Ashish Vidyarthi tied the knot with fashion entrepreneur Rupali Barua from Guwahati in an intimate ceremony at a Kolkata club on Thursday. According to reports, the bride and groom hosted a private reception celebrating their special day, with photos from their court marriage taking social media by storm. The wedding was a registry marriage, which took place in the presence of family members and close friends, with the pictures showing the couple twinning in white. While Rupali looked gorgeous in a beautiful white Assamese mekhela saree with a golden border, which she complimented with gold temple jewelry, Ashish was at his dashing best in a white and gold Kerala mundu.

Having appeared in several big films in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Odia, Marathi, and Bengali films, Ashish Vidyarthi told Times of India, "At this stage of my life, getting married to Rupali is an extraordinary feeling. We had a court marriage in the morning, followed by a get-together in the evening." Rupali too chimed in saying, "We met some time ago and decided to take it forward. But both of us wanted our wedding to be a small family affair." Although Ashish didn't share too many details about how their relationship blossomed, Barua, who is associated with a fashion store in Kolkata said, "He is a beautiful human being and a great soul to be with."

Ashish Vidyarthi has been a prominent name in Indian cinema having appeared mostly in antagonist and character roles.
