The makers of the long awaited movie Andhagan - The Pianist have released a song video from the movie. It's is an official remake of the 2018 mega-hit Bollywood crime thriller film Andhadhun starring Ayushmann Khurrana. The bollywood film was remade in multiple languages like Maestro in Telugu, Bhramam in malayalam that have already been released. The Tamil remake of the film was first announced in 2019 and went through multiple changes. The title of the project was then revealed in 2021 and its shooting wrapped up in November 2022.
The music video of the song Kannile from Andhagan The Pianist was released yesterday on Sony Music South YouTube channel. The melody composed by Santhosh Narayanan has vocals by Super Singer fame Adithya RK and lyrics by Uma Devi. The video features small glimpses form the movie featuring its star cast Prashanth, Priya Anand, Yogi Babu, Simran, Karthik, Samuthirakani, Urvasi, Vanitha Vijaykumar, KS Ravikumar, Poovaiyar, Mohan Vaidhiya. The song will have choreography by Prabhu Deva, who is known for sensational dance moves.
The stills form the songs show the film Andhagan The Pianist could be true to its original. The first single form the film En kadhal was released as a lyric video last year featuring the lead actor Prashanth with some graphics. The second single from the film Yosichi Yosichi was released on 26th May that also introduced actors in the film in their characters. It was sung by Haricharan and Santosh Naraynan, with lyrics by Vivek. The movie has screenplay and direction by Thiagarajan with cinematography by Ravi Yadav and dialogues by Pattukottai Prabhakar. Editing will be handled by Sathish Suriya, art by Senthil Ragavan and produced Shanthi Thiagarajan. Fans await more announcement on release of the film that has been in the production for over three years, to see actor Prashanth back on big screen after years.
