Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajith recently completed an important schedule for the tentatively titled AK 61 in Hyderabad, with reports suggesting he and director H.Vinoth along with the rest of the team will soon be filming next in Chennai and other locations in India. The film is being produced by Boney Kapoor, who is collaborating with Ajith and H. Vinoth for the third consecutive time after their Nerkonda Paarvai (2019) and Valimai, which was released earlier this year. AK 61 will see Ajith sharing screen space with National Award-winning Malayalam actress Manju Warrier, who is best known for her acclaimed performance in Vetri Maaran's Asuran opposite Dhanush, with the rest of the upcoming film’s cast featuring Rajathandhiram fame Veera, Sarpatta Parambarai star John Kokken, Mahanadhi Shankar among others in pivotal roles. After AK 61, Ajith will begin work on his AK 62, which will mark his first-ever collaboration with director Vignesh Shivan and blockbuster banner Lyca Productions, while Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the music, thus making it his third-time coming on board the superstar's project after Vedalam and Vivegam.
