Leading actor-filmmaker Prabhu Deva's Bagheera directed by Trisha illana Nayanthara fame Adhik Ravichandran is all set to open in cinemas on March 3 and promotions are well underway for the upcoming psycho-thriller, which also features a huge female ensemble cast that includes Amyra Dastur, Remya Nambeesan, Janani, Sanchita Shetty, Gayathrie Shankar, Sakshi Agarwal, Sonia Agarwal, and Pragathi, while Sai Kumar and Nassar will be appearing in pivotal roles. With less than a week left for Bagheera's release, Adhik and Prabhu Deva recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Galatta to address the topic of the use of bad words in the film.

Speaking about the bad word featured in one of the Bagheera trailers, Adhik Ravichandran said, "It's not a bad word, right? It's an emotion. For a normal person, there are boundaries. Being a psychopath, being a serial killer, what boundaries will they have? There's nothing as such for them. That is why they're psychopaths. Correct? You're not speaking that word now, right? Even I won't use utter that word. If he's saying that, he's a character in the film. If you watch the film as a film, then super. Furthermore, it's going to be screened to the censors first and it will come out muted." Upon being asked whether the use of bad words in the film will not go down well with the family audience, the filmmaker stated, "Every film has a target audience. So, Prabhu Deva master had done Devi, which is a family-oriented film and families come together to watch it. All the films he has done cater to the family audience. Why this (Bagheera) is looking out of sync is because it has been made for a specific audience - youngsters, boys, men and girls. Women can come too. We were clear about it right from day one. People who watch the teaser and trailer, they'll know whether they want to watch it or not."
