Leading singer Arijit Singh recently sustained an injury after a fan pulled his hand during his concert at Aurangabad in Maharashtra. The popular singer, who enjoys a massive fan following across India, has been busy with a nationwide tour and performed in Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and a few more recently. During his performance on Sunday at Aurangabad, Arijit Singh had performed hit Hindi songs such as 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', 'Hawayein', 'Kabira', 'Kesariya', 'Tere Pyaar Mein', to name a notable few, with a video now going viral on social media showing the singer telling a woman in the audience how her actions left his hand shaking.
In the video, we see Arijit Singh telling the woman, "If I am not able to perform, you are not able to have fun. It's as simple as that. You're pulling me like that. My hand is shaking. Should I leave?" Hearing the singer's words, the crowd collectively replied back with a big "no", while the woman is heard giving her apology. Arijit continued, "You have to understand. You are a grown-up, right? You are a mature person, right? Why did you pull me like that? My hand is shaking right now. I can't move my hand." The woman is then heard saying that she tried to reach out for his hand since he had come to the front where she and the audience were seated. The singer then replied, "Obviously I'll come in front of everybody na. I love everybody here. I will go to everybody."

Soon after the video went viral, Arijit Singh’s fans took to social media to compliment the singer for how composed he was, while also appreciating him for his approach to the situation. A fan account on Instagram has also expressed its solidarity to the singer on Instagram in which he can be seen showing his hand bandaged after the incident. Having made a name for himself over the years in Bollywood, Arijit is best known among Tamil cinema fans for singing the chart-topping hit 'Naan Un Azhaginile' in Suriya's 2016 blockbuster, 24, composed by A. R. Rahman, while he has also sung 'Adada Enna Azhagu' and its reprise version 'Neeyae' in the Jai-starrer Pugazh.
