Lakshmy sent the legal notice in the context of verbal abuse and also demanded a sum of Rs 1.25 crores from Vanitha as compensation. Now, Vanitha has sent a reply notice to Lakshmy Ramakrishnan and her legal team making important clarifications from her side.

Vanitha has denied all the allegations and averments made by Lakshmy Ramakrishnan and the denial has been made in the legal notice. Additionally, Vanitha Vijayakumar has demanded a sum of Rs 2.5 crores from Lakshmy for defaming her (Vanitha) in a public forum. The statement in Vanitha’s legal notice (sent by her lawyer Sreedhar) reads, “My client submits that my client is not liable to pay any damages to your clients as my client was the victim of your client's malicious remarks on social media to gain cheap publicity and promote commercial boost for YouTube channels by raising sponsorship. My client has a good reputation in the society as an actress, a famous blogger and a well known public figure who has won many TV reality shows. She has a huge fan club and a lot of subscribers in YouTuber for her blogging.

She is also referred as an 'iron mother' for raising her children boldly as a single parent against all evil and all those goodwill, reputation and public image is tarnished by your clients which has caused a huge loss of reputation and monetary loss of shows getting cancelled. My client claims a sum of Rs 2.5 crores as damages from your clients for interfering and spoiling my client's reputation in her public life by giving false allegations.

Additionally, Vanitha’s legal notice also stated, “My client will never seek for any public apology but if your clients come forward in good gesture and apologise publicly in the media, my client will reciprocate the same in all goodness for peaceful living”. We will have to wait for a few more days to know how Lakshmy Ramakrishnan reacts to this issue. Vanitha shared the screenshot images of the legal notice on her official Twitter page.
