Earlier today (September 25), Prithviraj Sukumaran unveiled the official teaser of his upcoming Malayalam thriller, Bhramam, directed by acclaimed cinematographer, Ravi K Chandran. Bhramam marks Ravi's second directorial venture after the Jiiva starrer Yaan (Tamil). Talking about the teaser, the promo introduces us to the world of Bhramam and its central characters. Bhramam is the official Malayalam remake of the critically acclaimed blockbuster film, Andhadhun and Prithviraj will be seen playing the role of a blind(?) pianist, reprising Ayushmann Khurrana's character.

Prithviraj, as always, strikes well, with his impressive screen presence and charm. It is going to be interesting to see how Prithviraj has approached this challenging role. Raashi Khanna who plays the female lead, is apt, while we get to see only a short glimpse of Mamta Mohandas who reprises Tabu's role from the original. The teaser manages to evoke the curiosity of the audience and has opened to a fairly positive response from the audience. Prithviraj's last release was Kuruthi which was raved by the critics and fans and he will be looking to maintain the momentum with Bhramam as well.

Bankrolled by Viacom 18 Studios, in association with AP International, the film has music composed by Jakes Bejoy and editing by Sreekar Prasad. Apart from directing, Ravi K Chandran has also handled the cinematography. Apart from the leads, Unni Mukundan, Shankar Panicker, Surabhi Lakshmi, Sudheer Karamana, Ananya Nair, Jagadish Kumar, Kunchan Krishnan, Malavika Nair are also a part of the star cast. Bhramam will have a direct OTT release on Amazon Prime Video on October 7, 2021, and the digital release will be applicable only for the Indian audience.

For the audience outside India, Bhramam will release in theatres through AP International in a wide number of screens. This interesting release strategy has already garnered attention in the trade circle. For now, check out the newly released impressive teaser of Prithviraj Sukumaran's Bhramam here:
