American actor John Travolta’s wife Kelly Preston died at the age of 57, two years after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Kelly Preston too was a famous actress and a model. She has acted in over sixty television and film productions. Some of her notable works include Mischief (1985), Twins (1988), and Jerry Maguire (1996). She was married to John Travolta, with whom she collaborated on the science fiction film Battlefield Earth (2000) and the biographical film Gotti (2018). She also starred in the films The Cat in the Hat (2003), What a Girl Wants (2003), Broken Bridges (2006) and Old Dogs (2009). Kelly Preston and John Travolta have been married for 29 years and we're both practising Scientologists. They have two children, Ella, 20 and Benjamin, nine. A son, Jett, died in 2009 aged 16. Kelly Preston’s death was announced in Instagram posts under John Travolta and Ella Bleu's accounts.

John Travolta in his statement confirmed the death of his wife who battled breast cancer for two years. He also thanked all the doctors and nurses who helped and supported his family during the battle. He has also stated that he will be taking some time to be with his children. John Travolta’s statement reads as follows - “It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.  My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while.  But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal.
