The makers of Dhruva Natchathiram had recently released the single song - ‘Oru Manam’, which turned out to be an instant chartbuster. The film has music scored by Harris Jayaraj who holds a fantastic success ratio with Gautham Menon. ‘Oru Manam’, the melody number was praised by the fans and music lovers for its beautiful composition, classy visuals, natural rendition of singer Karthik and deeply thought out lyrics. The song was penned by lyricist Thamarai who is known for her regular collaborations with Gautham Menon. The song’s lyric video has already crossed over 5 million views on YouTube.

Celebrating the success of the song, director Gautham Vasudev Menon shared some interesting tidbits about working with Vikram in this song and the film. Sony Music South, who owns the audio rights of the film, released this new video in which we see GVM speaking about the film. The Minnale filmmaker says, “Vikram is a comprehensive actor and personality. We do not have to suggest any changes to his acting as he understands what needs to be done. If we create the mood before the shoot, he would adapt to it and deliver his best. We just have to capture what he does with a camera and a good team. The entire shooting of Dhruva Natchathiram was done in a live manner and it happened naturally.

Talking about Oru Manam song, there are a few sequences that have lip sync and there are a few portions that don’t. You would have noticed it in the song. Similarly, there is an unreleased version of the song in which Vikram had to play guitar in front of Aishwarya Rajesh (as per the scene). I sent the song to Vikram and suggested this idea. He came all prepared and made it look so natural and real. We were there just to grab what he did. It was a lovely experience working with him,”.

It looks like Gautham Menon indeed had a great time filming Dhruva Natchathiram with Chiyaan Vikram. The film is currently in the final legs of post production and it is expected to hit the screens early next year when the situation gets better.
