Arun Vijay has made a name for himself as a skilled actor, with his power-packed performance in 'Thala' Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal still continued to be hailed by many fans. Arun Vijay, who has since impressed in films namely Kuttram 23, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, Thadam, Saaho and Mafia: Chapter 1, will next be seen as a cop in the action thriller Sinam. Directed by GNR Kumaravelan of Wagah fame, an intriguing teaser for Sinam had been released a while back, which received a strong positive feedback. With filming wrapped in early 2020, promotions for Sinam are now progressing to the next stage. 

Produced by Arun Vijay's father and actor Vijayakumar under the Movie Slides Pvt Ltd banner, Sinam will have its first audio single launched on January 27 at 10AM. The song has been titled 'Enil Paaindhidum Kaadhalae', with vocals by Jonita Gandhi and Shabir, who incidentally is the composer for the film. Paired opposite Kuppathu Raja heroine Pallak Lalwani, Arun Vijay is seen romancing her in the song's teaser, which has a couple of montage shots from the film. Sinam has been carrying quite a lot of expectations, with the makers going the extra mile during filming by erecting a mammoth set of a slum at a cost of Rs. 45 lakhs in Padappai. 

As of now, not much is known about Sinam apart from Arun Vijay playing a police offer, with the teaser keeping the plot in suspense. The action thriller's star cast also includes Kaali Venkat, RNR Manohar, KSG Venkatesh, Marumalarchi Bharathi and others, with the cinematography handled by Gopinath and editing done by Raja Mohammed respectively, while R Saravanan has penned the film's story and dialogues. 

Apart from Sinam, Arun Vijay’s upcoming film lineup also includes projects such as Moodar Koodam director Naveen's Agni Siragugal with Vijay Antony, the sports drama Boxer opposite Ritika Singh, the tentatively titled AV31 to be directed by Eeram fame Arivazhagan, which will be their reunion after Kuttram 23, including a venture with blockbuster director Hari that is set to roll into production in February.
