Premam director Alphonse Puthren files police complaint - breaking details here!

Director Alphonse Puthren who is known for directing the blockbuster romantic drama, Premam, took to his Facebook page to make an important announcement. He made it clear to his followers and well-wishers that a fake man is impersonating and misusing his name to get photos and videos of aspiring actors, especially the women. He mentioned the numbers of the guy who is impersonating him and also revealed that he has filed a police complaint against the guy for his fraudulent activities.

Alphonse’s Facebook post read, “I want to draw your attention with regard to a person whose number is ‘9746066514’, ‘9766876651’. He has been making fake calls in my name to many actresses in the film industry and even other women too. I even tried to call him and he picked up saying he is Alphonse puthren , pretending to be me . I have given a complaint to police against him for making fake calls claiming to be me. So please be careful if you get similar calls from the above numbers. Dont let that person fool you . If you receive any call like this , don’t give any personal information or photos or videos ...understand it’s a scam .”

This immediate clarification from Alphonse will indeed help a lot of upcoming actors to be safe and careful. Directors like PS Mithran (Irumbu Thirai and Hero fame) and Karthick Naren have faced similar situations before and now it is director Alphonse Puthren. The Police officials are said to be investigating the case and further details are awaited.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Alphonse will be making his next directorial film with Fahadh Faasil in the lead role. It has been more than 5 years since Premam’s release and hence the fans are eagerly looking forward to Alphonse Puthren’s next outing. He has taken enough time to script his next film and let us hope that this new outing turns out to be successful. This Fahadh Faasil starrer is titled Paattu and it will be a musical drama. Notably, Alphonse will be making his debut as a music director with this film. In one of his earlier interviews, the Neram director revealed that he has been learning music in the last five years and it is going to be interesting to see another facet of the talented filmmaker.
