Director-screenwriter Sukumar has a special talent to easily woo the young audience! Just ignore the box office performances of his films; if you take his films right from his debut film Arya, which turned out to be a sensational hit in 2004, all of them were filled up with lots of energy and the youth really loved them. His new Naga Chaitanya-Tamannaah starrer 100% Love is yet another youthful entertainer from Sukumar, completely targeting the youth and the family audiences.

100% Love revolves around Balu Mahendra (Naga Chaitanya), a number one student in his college. He is egocentric and can't digest anyone doing better than him. Mahalakshmi (Tamannaah) is his cousin and she comes to Balu’s house to continue her studies. To Balu's surprise, Mahalakshmi surpasses him in studies and grabs the first rank. Balu is deeply hurt and resorts to cunning ways to deviate Mahalakshmi. In the meantime, another student, Ajith (Anand) achieves first place in the college.

Meanwhile, Mahalakshmi's father arranges her marriage but she doesn’t want to marry. Balu helps her to put a stop to her father's marriage plans and in return, Mahalakshmi starts distracting Ajith from his studies. After some time the couple naturally falls in love, but split due to an ego clash. How they unite forms the rest of the story.

100% Love starts with a bang right from the title credits. Sukumar’s creativity is visible in the title designing. The title credits itself raise the audience expectations over 80 percent and director definitely lived up to the expectations. Most of the scenes are refreshing and the characterizations are unique. The screenplay in the first half is brilliant. But things turned upside down after intermission. The second half mainly focuses on values of family and relations and the hero's stupid ideologies spoil the show. To avoiding a predictable climax, Sukumar once again takes an eccentric path and ends up with an illogically climax.

Coming to the performances, Naga Chaitanya's performance is average and he needs to improve a lot especially in the emotional scenes and dance numbers. However, his performance in the collage scenes is good. Tamannaah does well as Mahalakshmi. She looked gorgeous in traditional Langa voni or Sarees. Most of the other cast are new actors and they did well. Dharmavarapu Subrahamanyam, Rajesh and MS Narayana acted well in humorous roles.

Devi Sri Prasad had been a major contributor to Sukumar’s successes so far, but even he has failed this time. His music is average. Cinematography by Prasad is impressive. All in all, 100% Love is for young audience and they will surely love it, especially the first half.
