Vijaya Publications releases two books
There is no need to introduce Vijaya Publications, one of the leading cinema-based publishers in Tollywood, who published the evergreen magazines 'Chandamama' and 'Vijaya Chitra'. During a function held at Film Chamber on May 21, Vijaya Publications released two more books titled ‘Jnapakala Pandiri’ and ‘Alanati Aanavallu’ respectively.
‘Jnapakala Pandiri’ is about the life history and experiences of late Tollywood producer B.N. Reddy, who set up Vijaya Studios in Chennai, then the Asia's biggest film studio. ‘Alanati Aanavallu’, written by noted film journalist Pulagam Chinnanrayana, is about 75 films produced under the Vijaya banner.
D. Rama Naidu released ‘Jnapakala Pandiri’ and presented the first copy to K.S. Rama Rao, while D.V.S. Raju released ‘Alanati Aanavallu’ and gave the first book to Tammareddy Bharadwaja. Journalist Maduri Madhu purchased the book for Rs. 1,116. Dr. D.V.S. Raju, D. Rama Naidu, K.S. Rama Rao, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Vishwanatha Reddy, Tanikella Bharani, Pulagam Chinnanrayana and others attended the function.
