Varudu begins from April 23

Telugu Prince Mahesh Babu's much-hyped action entertainer Varudu, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, is all set to start rolling from April 23 at various locations of Rajasthan, Nashik and South Africa. The first schedule will be shot in Hyderabad; the longer second schedule will be in Rajasthan. Mahesh Babu will join the sets on April 26.

According to the director, Varudu will be shot non-stop and will be ready in six months for Dasara or Deepavali release. Voluptuous beauty Anushka, who is currently riding high with the success of her latest Arundhati, is the first heroine;�the second heroine is yet to be finalized.

After the tremendous success of Athadu (2005), this is the second time Mahesh Babu teams up with director Trivikram Srinivas in Varudu, produced by Singanamala Ramesh under the banner of Kanakarathna Movies.

Varudu is described as an action plus romantic entertainer with Mahesh Babu in the role of a taxi driver. Prakashraj and comedian Sunil have important roles in this film, which is to be cinematographed by ace Bollywood cameraman Sunil Patel of Hum Tum and Bachna Ae Haseeno fame. Mani Sharma is scoring the music.
