Siddham releasing on Jagapathi's birthday

For Jagapathi Babu, 2009has begun with joy. He received the Best Supporting Actor Nandi award andnow, two of his films are releasing on consecutive Fridays.

Though Bangaru Babu was launched over 14 months ago, it is releasing only now, while Siddham was wrapped up in just 4 months. The strong, silent thespian feels uncomfortable that this time, he was unable to plan his releases properly. There has always been a gap between Jagapathi's releases which have kept him in the public eye constantly.

Siddham is the second film in which Jagapathi Babu and J.D. Chakravarthy (referred to as J.D. within Tollywood circles) act together. J.D. directed and played a negative hero's role in Homam. Siddham releases on February 12, Jagapathi's birthday. Bangaru Babu, also referred as Bengaru Babu,a dramatic entertainer, will release on February 20.

Eighty films old,Jagapathi Babu is the only established Telugu hero who also does small but significant roles, saying he is doing his bit to contribute to creativity in commercial cinema. About working with J.D. yet again, he says, “We feel very comfortable working with each other and it just happened in such a way that I acted in two of his films. He is a very good technician from the school of Ram Gopal Varma with avast knowledge of cinema. He doesn’t know anything but cinema. I feel good working in his direction.”
