Venkatesh at The Joy of Giving Week

Victory Venkatesh inaugurated the website of GiveIndia's 'The Joy of Giving Week', a national movement of people from all walks of life to reach out to the less privileged by donating money, volunteering time, providing your skills and even just saying a kind word, on Wednesday at KIMS Hospital, Hyderabad.

Vishnu Manchu, Pullela Gopichand, Ajit Rangnekar and Dr Bhaskar Rao were present during the occasion.

Introducing the concept, Venkat Krishnan, Director, GiveIndia, said ‘Joy of Giving’ week would serve as a platform for anyone who would like to give back to society in any way they chose to. ‘Joy of Giving Week’ is scheduled to be held from September 27 to October 3 all over India.

Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation and KIMS-Ushalakshmi Centre for Breast Diseases announced that they would provide 200 women below the poverty line free breast cancer screening and free treatment to those who had been identified with the ailment during the week.
