Film on YSR releasing on August 15

Sai Universal Films' Telugu film Bhageerathudu, based on the life of former AP Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy (who died in a helicopter crash on September 2 last year) will be released on August 15.

Directed and produced by Giri Reddy, Bhageerathudu has veteran actor Vinod Kumar in the lead role opposite Yamuna. The post production work is progressing at a brisk pace.

According to the director, Bhageerathudu is an elaboration of the younger days of YSR. The life of YSR in college, his entry in politics and subsequent success stories will be portrayed in the movie which will also highlight how Reddy managed to retain the seat of Chief Minister for the second term.
