After the super hit Paiyaa, director Lingusamy is once again back to Kollywood with Vettai, one of the biggest multistarrers in recent times. The film has Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in lead roles.
In this film, Madhavan will play the role of a cop. The hit pair of Madhavan and Lingusamy comes together after nearly eight years post their blockbuster Run. Madhavan and Arya will appear as brothers in this film.
According to sources, the characterization of Maddy and his equation with his brother will be among the major highlights of Vettai. The film is produced by Subhash Chandrabose and Lingusamy under their home banner Thirupathi Brothers. Nirav Shah is the cinematographer and Yuvan takes care of the music department. UTV Motion Pictures will release this film worlwide on January 14, 2012
