"It is an emotional love story which will be different and catchy," this is what Aishwarya Dhanush had to say about her debut debut directorial venture 3, which has Dhanush and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. With the Kolaveri rage creating a global impact there is no doubt that the film is one of the most expected film in Kollywood.
"3 is a love story. And that usually means you must come up with something poetic. But I wanted something different, at the same time catchy. Nothing too long. And 3 was just perfect for the story too," Aishwarya revealed in an exclusive interview to Galatta.com.
So why did she choose Dhanush to play the lead role in 3? "This one is tailor-made for Dhanush. Being his wife, I know what all he can do, I understand him well. In a script like this, it’s important that the hero understands the emotional make up of his character. Since Dhanush already knows what I need, it’s that much easier for me. Plus, he has proved himself as a commercial hero," she added.
The technical team consist of debutant Anirudh (music), Velraj (camera), Kasthuri Raja (production) and Kola Bhaskar (editing)
The film is likely to grace theatres on Feb 3, 2012.
