Yen Indha Mounam

Produced by Deva Kumar Reddy, a famous businessman and film distributor of Andhra Pradesh, Yen Indha Mounam is a beautiful love story of a highly mismatched couple. The film’s casting is perfect – Vikramaditya of Whistle fame plays an ultra-modern NRI and smiling beauty Sneha plays a demure girl who is trying to come to terms with her life after losing her parents to the tsunami.

The film’s strength lies in the beautiful screenplay by director Nagabhushan, whose photographic skills won him awards from WHO! Soon, his love for photography and cinema saw him associate with renowned Tollywood directors, providing him a chance to hone his directorial skills. Right in his debut film, he has taken up a profound idea and woven a beautiful screenplay around it.

Emphasizing the importance of values in one’s life, Yen Indha Mounam shows how the heroine makes the easygoing hero realize the values of moral principles. Director Nagabhushan has taken great care in presenting the idea to viewers in a very gentle and appealing manner without sounding didactic.

The film has an impressive array of actors in supporting roles: Sarath Babu, Chandana, Ishwarya, Ambika, Suman Shetty, Sandra, Vishwa, Ramesh Kanna and Pandu. With famous Tollywood music director K.M. Radhakrishna scoring the music, viewers can be sure about lilting melodies. Lyrics are by eminent poet Vairamuthu. Bharani K. Dharan is the cinematographer and Sreekar Prasad is the editor.

PS: Deva Kumar Reddy had produced Ammayi Bagundhi in Telugu, which did very well throughout Andhra Pradesh. Director Nagabhushan was earlier a central government employee!
