Vivek teams up with Dhanush

Dhanush starrer Padikkathavan is directed by Suraaj, who directed hit films like Thalainagaram and Marudhamalai. The director gives great importance to comedy tracks in his films, and the comedy tracks by Vadivelu in these two films were an integral part of their success.

Suraaj has kept his style intact in Padikkathavan too; he has roped in Vivek and is working seriously on the film’s comedy track where Vivek and Dhanush are teaming up for the first time.

But keeping in mind the action-hero image of Dhanush, he has included plenty of action scenes in the film. Recently, the unit shot a few stunt scenes in Karaikudi that involved trucks being blown sky-high. The people in the vicinity of the shooting spot were shocked by the blasts. They soon gathered around the filming spot and watched the proceedings agape.

So, it looks like Padikkathavan will have the right mixture of action and comedy.
