Vishal-Meenakshi in opening song of Thoranai

Don't you think the picture on the left looks like something�Michelangelo painted? There is hardly any cine buff who has not marvelled at these pictures from the�Thoranai photo session. Venkat Ram, who has a splendid and eclectic taste, has shown that with a little improvisation, even�mundane objects like twigs or an old and dilapidated chandelier�can look like a marvelous piece of art work, an effect which only grows multifold with a model like Vishal. Well, in this picture inset, Vishal is seen in a tranquil mood, quite in contrast to his aggressive image in Thoranai. That's right, Thoranai is Vishal’s complete “action fair”. Just sample this opening song – ‘Adi Adi Adhiradi’. Though slender and beautiful Shriya Saran is the heroine,�this introductory song will feature Vishal and�angelic beauty Meenakshi dancing to�tunes composed by Mani Sharma.

The song will be one of Thoranai’s highlights for its massive set and beautiful Meenakshi. Art director Velu Prakash and his crewmen worked day and night to build this set which resembles the popular and typical “thiruvizha” with a 60-feet statue of Durga and 500 shops!
