Vijayalakshmi on the right track
Actress Vijayalakshmi, daughter of National Award winning director Agathiyan, made her debut with Chennai 600028 in 2007. And ever since, she has made everyone sit up and take notice of her performances. Chennai 600028 directed by Venkat Prabhu was a blockbuster and she was later chosen to play the lead role in Anjathey, directed by Mysskin. Anjathey also won rave reviews as it captured the imagination of the audience.
But the lady is not the one to let success go to her head. She also made a special appearance in Saroja and has been working hard on Adhe Neram Adhe Idam, where she is paired opposite Jai. Vijayalakshmi is also playing the role of a princess in Sultan The Warrior, an animated film with 'Superstar' Rajnikanth as the warrior king.
The actress has decided to try her luck with some offbeat roles and does not want to conform to monotony. She now sports a new look for her forthcoming Katradhu Kalavu, in which she pairs opposite Krishna. She has also been signed up for an untitled film opposite Akhil of Kalloori fame.
