Vignesh-Lakshana in Eesa

J. Jaya Krishnan, a leading entrepreneur in the real estate and constructions business, turns producer with Eesa starring Vignesh and Lakshana, produced under his banner J.K. Creations. The Eesa team met the media during a press meet on 13th May 09 at MM Theatre, Chennai.

During the press meet, JK mentioned that even though Vignesh has been acting in films for the past 15 years, Eesa will turn out to be his stepping-stone to success and stardom. The movie is being produced with much grandeur and JK has spent lavishly to ensure that the movie thrills the audiences and proves to be commercially successful. Vignesh plays a character called Sudalesan, which is said to be very different from his earlier roles. Vignesh's role would get him the fame and applause which Kamal and Vikram received for their roles in 16 Vayathinile and Pithamagan respectively, says the confident producer.

Lakshana, after having played a minor role in S.J. Suryah's Thirumagan romances with Vignesh in Eesa. Among actresses who believe only in glamour, Lakshana is confident that her acting skills will take her to greater heights. M.S. Bhaskar, Lollu Sabha Manohar, Subburaj,  Muthukaalai are part of the cast. Eesa has four villains: Rajendran, V.P.T. Prasad, Royapuram Arul and Maduranthagam Venkat. Bala Ganesha makes his directorial debut with Eesa and also takes care of story, screenplay and dialogues.

Eesa is about the love between an angry young man and an innocent girl who works in the salt fields of Tuticorin. The location for the movie is mainly Tuticorin, Rajapalayam and surrounding areas. A stunt sequence from the movie was shot recently in a salt field with Vignesh and the villain gang. The stunt choreographer and the crew members appreciated Vignesh for the hard work and dedication he showed in the sequence and hoped that the movie would bring him the limelight he deserves.

Haran makes his debut as a music director with Eesa. Lyrics are by Na. Muthukumar and Kabilan. Cinematography is by R.B. Balaganesh and stunts are by Dragon Singli. Kadhal Kandhas does the dance choreography. The movie is due to release in June.
